Donate

We accept all trading cards from sports and entertainment to Pokemon and comic book cards. We focus primarily on trading cards, but will accept other forms of notable memorabilia in an effort to share them with students or sell them for the purposes of fundraising for the charity.

From your donation, we sort, screen, organize and prepare cards to be donated based on the request of teachers and other group organizers.

We are a non-profit entity and cannot support paying for any cards or for any shipping costs you may incur from your donation. Should this deter your intention to donate, we still encourage you to consider reaching out to your own local charity groups.

With any fundraising we generate, these funds are used to ship cards outside our local catchment and to help support other means of the charity.

*Note: Given the concerns around Covid-19, we fully support and practice social distancing and curbside pick-up and drop off.*

To donate:

  1. Contact us. Let us know what you would like to donate and your intentions, but really, we are more curious than anything. We won’t turn much down.
  2. Box up your items. Ship them or drop them off at your convenience. If you live within the Ottawa area (613 or 819), we are willing to collect your items on a limited schedule.
  3. Congratulations! Welcome to the #CC613 Card Curriculum community.

To request:

  1. Contact us. Be prepared to share some of your information as an educator, community organizer or institution. We simply want to ensure that the cards we collect are distributed to legitimate causes.
  2. Receiving your items. Collecting your cards yourself is encouraged. If you live within the Ottawa area (613 or 819), we are willing to deliver your items on a limited schedule. If you are willing to pay to have items shipped to you, we can arrange to ship.
  3. Check out our lessons. Feel free to browse through our lesson bank and use what you like to help with student engagement and learning.
  4. Share the experience. Post your experience on social media to help promote our cause. If you have any ideas on lessons or activities of your own, please share them with us.
